Invisible Pillars

The ravine overflowed onto the church/school grounds.  Several people worked very hard to fix the problem.

Seeing Marica at work, a pastor said, “I like leaders who are not afraid of dust.”

Eunicéna’s Story:

I have been attending The Fortress Church since I was 10 years old. At 17, I started serving children at tables and washing dishes. I was baptized in water at age 15, then baptized in the Holy Spirit. After that, I led the worship in church.

Child Care Plus/Haiti sponsored me from 11th to 13th grade, which enabled me to obtain a scholarship to study nursing. During my training, I worked in the infirmary every Friday and Sunday alongside Ed Amos, an American medical assistant. In 2011, The Fortress hired me as a nurse and Bible teacher for grades K through 6.  I am currently responsible for Sunday school for children aged 3 to 11, a program that welcomes up to 400 participants each week. During the summer, I organize camps for children. At the most recent camp, we welcomed over 1,000 children in a single day.

The worship team wants to see God manifest Himself.   Our youngest musician appears here wearing a jacket!  Thank you for your prayers for Haiti.

The first contingent of the Gang Suppression Force will arrive in Haiti on April 1. Up to 5,500 soldiers are expected. Over the past few months, a large number of armored vehicles and military equipment have been arriving in Haiti. Everyone hopes that the situation will return to normal. Thank you for your prayers.
